1. Enter *#06# into your phone to retrieve the phone's IMEI number.

Fix a cell phone after getting it wet

Step1
Step one, do not turn on your phone.
Step2
Pull off the back cover of the phone, and remove the battery.
Step3
Set the battery aside, and put the phone in the oven or toaster oven without the battery.
Step4
Bake the phone at the lowest setting the oven has. If the oven has a "warm" setting, this works the best.
Step5
Let the phone bake for about eight hours before removing the phone from the oven. Let the phone cool completely, and re-insert the battery.
Step6
Plug the phone into the charger and let it charge. Then try turning it on, and it should work again.

Well i'm pretty sure by now all ofthe samsung phone owners have noticed how easy it is to damage their charging ports. This we have noticed as well. They are designed to fit inside of the slimmest allowed space, but with that said the charger is not. most owners will find that the cause of their problem is the charger, and not the charging port! Well. no worries! We can usually fix the phone while you wait. In no way are these charging ports simple to repair. We would only hope that nobody tries to repair them before they bring their phone in to us. Any Question..
