Motorola Phone Tools is software that is updated by Motorola's Internet servers, in downloads, to owners of the installed Motorola Phone Tools software (regardless of installed version) with each new version release. The current update release is version 4.06b, as I write this, under the 4.0 version which is now Avanquest - replacing the BVRP name. Yes, if you have version 3 BVRP Motorola Phone Tools - your software can be updated free to the new Avanquest version automatically online. I have this software loaded to four computers in my home, some using the Bluetooth and/or USB connections and

others using the USB connection alone. All four computers are running Windows XP Professional as the OS and heavily loaded with aftermarket software. Each computer has all of Microsoft's updates automatically installed through their wireless network connections using the Alltel DSL service, 5200 Modem/Router, and the USR 5450 AP I have. The computers also vary in type such as Server, Workstation, Media, age, processor brand, and speed. Speeds are from 900 megahertz to 2.4 GHz. Processors are Intel Pentium III, AMD Athlon, and AMD Dual Core XP. The oldest has a meager 768 Mb. of installed ram with the others at and well above 1 Gb. of ram. None of my four computers has had any problem with this software and its provided features work flawlessly from each with my Motorola phones.
